Awesome tribute for our Rockboat Family

1994年にStarclassicが産声を上げてはや四半世紀。それまでのTAMAの集大成として生み出されたこのシリーズは、我々の予想を遥かに超えて成長し、千変万化する音楽の潮流の中で我々がなすべき使命を我々自身に迫るまでになりました。その使命とは、今を生きる音楽に相応しい音であり続けるという意味で“モダン(現代的)”であり、現代の潮流の一歩先の音楽で求められるサウンドを先取りという意味で、“モダン(前衛的)”でもあり続けるということ。それは言い換えるならば「ドラムの音が果たすべき現代的意義を世に問い続ける」ということです。 Starclassic Maple、Starclassic Bubinga、そしてStarclassic Performer B/Bなど歴代のStarclassicが体現したのも、正にその時々に移り変わるドラムの音の現代的意義でした。そして近年、驚異的なドラムテクニックの向上は、タムやフロアタムのみならず、個性的なサウンドのシンバルやパーカッションを斬新に取り入れることで、かつてないほど表情豊かな表現方法を用いるアプローチをますます可能にしています。この新たな“現代的”潮流の中でStarclassicが目指したのは、そのような多彩な音使いを際立たせるためのしっかりとした存在感を示しつつも、音の分離を明確にすることで、プレイヤーの表現を的確に周りに伝えることができるドラムサウンドです。それを実現するため我々は既存のシェルマテリアルに捕われない、ありとあらゆる可能性を探る研究を重ねました。そして数えきれないほどの試行錯誤の結果辿り着いたのが、このハイブリッドシェルWalnut/Birchです。 　数限りない試行錯誤の結果ようやく辿り着いた、新たなそしてこれからの時代に求められるサウンドを提供する新しいStarclassicの形。それがこのStarclassic Walnut/Birchです。 Music composed by Juny Mag. https://www.junyayamaguchi.com
